Biography

Lehi T. Vang, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant who joins Oklahoma Cancer and Blood Specialists in our Tulsa office, working closely with Dr. Hassan Kaleem to care for adult patients with cancer and blood disorders. Lehi completed his clinical training with our team and brings a patient-first philosophy grounded in compassion, careful listening, and helping patients become the CEOs of their own health.

In the cancer and blood specialty setting, Lehi assists with patient consultations and follow-ups, supports treatment planning, and helps coordinate care across the multidisciplinary team. His clinical training spans the breadth of medicine — including internal medicine, family medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, emergency medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, and behavioral health — giving him a well-rounded foundation for caring for patients with complex needs.

Lehi earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Northeastern State University in Muskogee, Oklahoma, in December 2024. His culminating clinical rotation in Internal Medicine was completed at the Oklahoma Cancer Center alongside Dr. Kaleem, where he gained focused exposure to the screening and management of hematologic disorders and the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University-Idaho, along with current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Prior to PA school, Lehi worked as a CICU Nurse Assistant at St. Francis Tulsa Heart Hospital, where he cared for critically ill cardiac patients alongside a team of ICU nurses. He has also held leadership roles as President of the Hmong Club Associations and Vice President of his PA Club, and serves as Head Volleyball Coach for women’s competitive volleyball in his community.
