Sanjaykumar Hapani, M.D., known to patients and colleagues as Dr. Sanjay Hapani, is a triple-board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. At Oklahoma Cancer and Blood Specialists, he provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for the full range of cancer and blood disorders affecting adults.

Dr. Hapani treats patients with solid tumor cancers such as breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, and gastrointestinal malignancies, as well as blood cancers including lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma. He also manages benign hematologic conditions such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, clotting and bleeding disorders, and hereditary hematologic conditions. His care philosophy centers on listening carefully, explaining clearly, and tailoring each treatment plan to the goals and values of the patient in front of him.

Dr. Hapani earned his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed both his internship and his residency in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York, followed by a three-year fellowship in Hematology and Oncology, also at Stony Brook University Medical Center. He has been in practice in the Oklahoma City community since 2013.

Dr. Hapani is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Physicians, and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Oncology, and the American Board of Hematology.
